They are mainly from our local area. I am going to recreate the postcard with a modern photograph to record how much things have changed in the years that have passed.

The first then and now I am posting is of a place known locally as Denham Bridge, it sits between the villages of Buckland Monachorum and Bere Alston.

An old coloured postcard
Taken July 2010. The house can just be seen through the trees. The bridge has had a number of repairs to on closer inspection.
